This book is my opportunity to share with others my experience of how God gave me peace amid my storm and the strength to keep moving when I wanted to give up. I have decided to put into print some of the most personal and intimate details of my life leading up to and during my plunge into widowhood. I am sharing my emotions exactly as I recall them. While every widow may not experience the overwhelming anguish and emotional roller coaster as I did, some aspects of death will ring true for anyone who has ever or will ever experience death. I pray that as others read my story, they will find peace, comfort, hope, and encouragement in their times of grief, sorrow, and loneliness.
